Jazak Allahu khayra for this brother I linked zaleel’s post on this thread - as a standalone discussion other than DH, even though zaleel was addressing DH & Kanj https://sunniport.com/index.php?threads/zameel-on-dh-haroun-kanj.16429/
Zameel has a problem with 'The Prophet ﷺ physically exits his blessed grave and exercises control over aspects of the physical world' So the Prophet can't exit his grave but Nanotwi can ما شاء الله
Moral of the story guys - the Prophet peace be upon him can't have Tassaruf but our elders can even after their death. Btw this is just a glimpse there is so much stories of their book which talk about Tassaruf, having the attributes of Allah, the Awliya of Takween etc... Zameel is a hypocrite. He'll squirm his way out of this one too. But Ashraf Ali Thanwi has explicitly affirmed Tassaruf for the scholars of Deoband.
Under story number 439, Thanwi states “This incident was a kind of kashf (spiritual unveiling), in which it is possible that Mawlānā’s focused attention played a role — which is one form of taṣarruf (spiritual influence)
Under story number 266 which states Qasim Nanotwi can show people the Prophet peace be upon him when they're awake, Ashraf Ali Thanwi states: “Either, through this taṣarruf (spiritual intervention), power will become evident, or else reliance will be placed on ‘la-uqsimu ʿalā Allāh la-abarruhu’ (swearing an oath upon Allah that He will fulfill it)
Under Hikayah 250, Qasim Nanotwi transports someone to the throne of Allah, (long story hence I didn’t translate) Ashraf Ali Thanwi states after "Rather, this was an effect of taṣarruf (spiritual intervention), similar to the effect mentioned in a hadith of Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim" In the rest of the footnote he acknowledges that some can have Tassaruf
Arwah e Salatha story 246 ‘The reality is that just now Maulana Nanotvi (may Allah have mercy on him) came to me in his bodily form. I suddenly broke out into sweat and my cloak became completely drenched. He said: “Tell Mahmud Hasan not to get involved in this dispute.” That is why I have called you.’ Ashraf Ali Thanwi states, “This incident was a manifestation of the soul, and it can take only two possible forms: one is that it was a ‘subtle (imaginal) body’ resembling the elemental (physical) body; and the second is that the soul itself exercised control (تصرف) over the elements and formed an elemental (physical) body, which, after some time had passed, was then dissolved again"
