   zubayd is the ancestor yemeni tribe of most of the newer Iraqi Sunni tribes that dominate much of Iraq today
   
   for example, the dulaimis, the zuba'a, the janabi etc

   i heard someone pronounce the sayyid's name as zubaidi and asked a brother to clarify. he said that it is zabidi due to his hometown:
