    One of the authors of the books is Allama Abdul Sattar al-Dehlawi who by the looks of it actually had a cordial relationship with Imam ARK. Here is Imam ARK's chain to him

    Contrast this with Rashid Gangohi who writes that holding Sayyiduna RasulAllah ﷺ to have knowledge of the unseen is undoubtedly polytheism and disbelief; if one holds the knowledge to be divinely bestowed and not intrinsic, even this is nonsensical and false.

    Fatawa-e-RasheedyahByShaykhMuftiRasheedAhmadGangohir.a_0227.jpg

    According to the Ḥanafī scholars, whoever holds the belief that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ possesses knowledge of the unseen is categorically a polytheist and an unbeliever...

    As for those who argue that the knowledge of the unseen attributed to the Messenger ﷺ is not intrinsic, but bestowed by Allāh, the Exalted - this is sheer falsehood and nonsensical.

    We can see the fatwa was endorsed by Khalil Ambethwi.

    Alahazrat classifies the discourse on knowledge of the unseen into three tiers.
    1. That whose denial constitutes disbelief;
    2. That whose denial expels one from Ahl al-Sunnah, while not entailing kufr;
    3. That whose denial does not even sever one from Sunnism.

    Within the third category fall matters such as affirming that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ knows the precise Hour of the Resurrection, that he possesses exhaustive knowledge of the five hidden realities without exception, that he knows mā kāna wa mā yakūn and beyond, the true reality of the soul, and the ultimate meanings of the mutashābihāt of the Qur'an.

    Alahazrat maintains that the denial of the Prophet ﷺ possessing knowledge of these five matters does not expel a person from Sunnism - as far as I know al-Imām al-Barzanjī differed with Alahazrat on the question of the five hidden realities; but disagreement on such secondary theological particulars does not compromise one’s standing within Ahl al-Sunnah. Thus, we may differ with al-Imām al-Barzanjī on this issue while still holding him a proper Sunni.

    In short, Alahazrat and al-Imām al-Barzanjī differed on the amount / extent / scope of his ﷺ knowledge of the unseen, not whether he ﷺ had knowledge of the unseen.

    Won't help them much. The Arab scholars tend to lean towards the same position as imam Ahmad Raza in the first place. If anything, I'm hoping they'll release books about their position on mawlid and istigatha in Arabic too, so they can expose themselves as the fake sufis that they are

    Here is a new publication by the Deobandis in Arabic refuting Imam ARK's position on Ilm al-Ghayb. The first two epistles are by Imam Barzanji, the next 3 by Allama Ayn al-Qadat al-Hyderabadi (student of Imam Abdul Hayy al-Lucknowi) and not sure who the other 2 are.
